G. richardsonii I thought is an American species not reported from Himalayas. It also seems to have narrower petals rounded at apex. I think Simla plant should be a variation of G. nepalense. http://www.swcoloradowildflowers.com/Pink%20Enlarged%20Photo% 20Pages/geranium.htm -- Dr. Gurcharan Singh efi site link: Geranium nepalense<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/g/geraniaceae/geranium/geranium-nepalense> ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Dinesh Valke <[email protected]> Date: 11 March 2013 00:08 Subject: [efloraofindia:149152] Balsaminaceae, Geraniaceae and Oxalidaceae Week :: DV32 :: 31 MAY 08 10:41 :: Geraniaceae » Geranium ¿ richardsonii ? in Shimla To: efloraofindia <[email protected]> Balsaminaceae, Geraniaceae and Oxalidaceae Week balsam, geranium, wood sorrel families Geraniaceae * Geranium * ¿ * richardsonii * ?
