Dear members
Please gear up for the "Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week" starting
from tomorrow. I am sure It is going to be very exciting week, especially
with the participation of Dr. Manoj Chandran, who I am sure would have a
very busy time. To make our job easier kindly:
1. Number your uploads serially, (your initials+upload number) so that our
job of computing statistics is easier, and we easily know how many uploads
you have made during the week.
2. For all uploads during the week concerning these three families let
there be a common subject line, but separating the families as under:
"Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week: Poaceae-...............(name of
plant/unique ID) from...........(Place)...(your serial number)" or
"Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week:
Cyperaceae-...............(name of plant/unique ID)
from...........(Place)...(your serial number)" or
"Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week: Juncaceae-...............(name of
plant/unique ID) from...........(Place)...(your serial number)"
or if you don't know the family make it simple
"Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week:...............(name of
plant/unique ID) from...........(Place)...(your serial number)"
For my first upload in Poaceae I would have subject line
"Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week: Poaceae- Avena fatua from
Kashmir--GS1
and if second upload is meant for ID
"Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncaceae Week: Poaceae- 01042013GS1 from Delhi
for ID--GS2"
Please don't forget to mention the place.
I am sure the week would benefit many members.
I request Mayur ji and other members who know these families well to help
during the week.
