  Thanks Dr.Vijayasankar & Dr.Santosh for a possible id. Have checked the 
photographs of Gouania microcarpa in the archives of this group. Have not 
encountered anything similar at Shahapur, but will keep a watch.

It may be Gouania microcarpa of Rhamnaceae (please note the coiled tendrils).
