Sacciolepis indica.
Gori valley is another botanical hotspot as it is a narrow valley with the
Gori river descending from 3800m to 600m with snow peaks on both sides. The
lower part of Gori valley from Jauljibi to Madkot (600 to 1500m) is
specifically rich due to mixing of temperate and tropical elements and also
is the confluence of eastern himalayan and western himalayan elements. More
than 125 species of orchids are found in this stretch alone.
