Congress grass is *Parthenium hysterphorus* and the biocontrol agent is *Zygogramma bicolor* a coccinellid. THough the coccinellid grubs and adults feed voraciously on the plants and can defolitae it, have been released in many places for its control..... it has also started feeding on sunflower which is a commercial crop.
