Dear Dr DS Rawat, Yes It is an endemic species, but very common in Uttarakhand specially in two district (Chamoli and Pithoragarh).
I have seen this plant in four different localities in the state and counted app. 5000 individuals. Yes this species have only limited habitats. As i had published in my paper in The Checklist and also mention in my Thesis.
