*Solidago virga-aurea*
Only one Solidago species mentioned in Flowers of Himalaya book
Erect unbranched perennial with terminal spike-like cluster of flowers.
Ray florets 10-12 which are 8 mm long. Involucre cyllindrical.
Lower leaves stalked upper stalkless.
Fruit ribbed . *Pappus present*, long rough.
