This is Thelypteris (Sect. Cyclosorus) interruptus, a low-altitude marsh fern, occurring from Nepal and Bihar eastwards, and in peninsular India, including the South - it is a S.E. Asian (Malesian) element in India. There are big colonies of it (spreading by its long-creeping rhizomes) around and in the ponds at the Indian Botanic Garden, Kolkata.
