*Junior Research Fellow in Orchid Ecology*

*The PG and Research Centre in Botany, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kerala
* invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of a Junior
Research Fellow in a DST (Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of
India) funded project entitled “*Spatial Distribution of Orchids in
relation to their Habitat and climate in the Western Ghats, India*” for a
period of three years.

*Qualification*: Master’s degree in Botany/Zoology/Wildlife
Biology/Forestry/Ecology or related discipline with minimum 55% marks.

*Desirable*: UGC-NET/Lectureship qualification, prior experience in
ecological research and aptitude for fieldwork in difficult terrains.

*Emoluments (consolidated): *as per DST norms.

Candidate with strong aptitude for research will be encouraged for Ph.D.
registration.

*How to apply:* Candidates may submit their applications in plain paper
along with detailed bio-data (should contain: age and date of birth,
details of qualifications; contact details including phone number, email
and postal address, a photograph and two reference addresses with email
id), copies of educational/professional qualifications and a brief note on
your research interests/experience. Completed applications should reach:
