At the outset, I am extremely sorry for the delayed response. I was busy otherwise and did not check group mails. It is a pleasant surprise to receive a good-will message from the group head. Thanks Garg ji. I am thankful to all those who conveyed their best wishes. To express my sincere feelings, the message is embarrassing to me. I questioned my self whether I deserve the praise, as my contribution has been very minimal, though consistent, all through my inter action ‘off and on’. With all modesty and humility , I submit that I do not qualify / deserve the praise ‘GEM’. I have neither contributed substantially like many, who have posted innumerable no. (hundreds & thousands) of photos nor offered professional expertise like many dedicated taxonomists in the group, burning their midnight oil to ID the plants and to provide useful data besides responding to countless postings. They are the real 'GEMs'. Without personalising I solute all. The dedicated group head Garg ji is the real 'GEM' of Gems. His untiring effort has brought the group to the forefront in the floral-web. May his tribe increase.
At the end, to be honest , I am only a layman trying to learn from the erudite group and continue to learn more.
