Yazdi ji
a stinging caterpillar is usually a moth caterpillar.

on mango one does see a similar green caterpillar with just a single yellow
line[that of Common Baron butterfly] to merge with the midrib of the
leaf..it camouflages well.But it is never stinging.The one you mentioned is
stinging so it must be that of Limacotid moth.
