Dear Dr. R. Thilakan Makkiseril,
I took the photos of Putranjeeva tree last year in Jawaharlal Nehru University 
campus, Delhi. I have seen the plant being commonly grown as a hedge plant but 
never as a tree; so was not sure about its identification.  I will go and check 
if the tree is still there.

Dr.Sathish Phadke is right. 2 months back I have sent pics of this tree to get 
the ID confirmed;courtesy Dr.Santhosh kumar & Dr.Prabhu kumar.Chitralekhaji I 
would like to know where exactly this tree is in Delhi;kindly provide 
information.I have never seen fruits of the tree I have refered;which is there 
in a Grove - the remnants of the medicinal plant garden of the world famous 
17th century ayurvedic physician Sri.Itty Achuthan vaidyan at an obscure 
village situated in Alapuzha dt of Kerala - where I goes occassionally..
