Thanks Robert ji for showing interest in the plant.*Elaeodendron
glaucum*syn Cassine glaucum.
I had read about this plant in local literatures (Flora Maharashtra) It is
said to be uncommonly found on hills etc in Maharashtra. It flowers all
round the year.
This plant is called as *Bhutya *in Marathi(The language of Maharashtra). I
have been closely observing this plant now after your mail. I doubt whether
the inflorescence is showing buds or fruits. If these are buds they should
open up. (I saw yesterday .. they were same)
This tree was spotted on Vetal Tekdi Pune and I couldn't locate any other
similar plant in its vicinity.
