Yes, there are many plants <http://envis.frlht.org/ver_search.php> called
by the name 'Pashanabeda' (spelling varies) including Bergenia, Aerva,
Coleus, Rotula etc.

As per
literature<http://books.google.com/books?id=hBvmp019CK8C&pg=PA159&lpg=PA159&dq=pashanabheda&source=bl&ots=mWVdteoeEd&sig=eLqGRBjX-wLoHwPFT48v5nXklcY&hl=en&sa=X&ei=GUMmUpubMcTAsATt0IHgAg&ved=0CEcQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=pashanabheda&f=false>,
Bergenia ligulata is the North Indian Pashanabed and Rotula
<http://envis.frlht.org/plant_details.php?disp_id=1814&parname=0>aquatica
is the South Indian candidate for the drug!
