* Trail to Salim Ali Point* (Sunday, 1st November 2009) Salim Ali point is the pinnacle of the BNHS reserve, offering a panoramic view of the reserve and the adjoining National Park. The nature trail to this point, dedicated to the ‘Birdman of India’, is the most scenic and bountiful. At the start of winter the forest undergoes a metamorphosis. You can find brilliantly coloured wildflowers, calling birds, fluttering butterflies and much more. Come with us to discover the wonders of nature. Date: 1st November 2009 Venue: Conservation Education Centre, Mumbai Time: 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Programme fee: Rs. 100/- per head (Fee includes breakfast).
