Dear Garg Sir, You may like to agree with me that the ID of cyperaceae members are very very tough to accomplish. *Cyperus* is rather easier than *Scirpus, Fimbristylis*... etc. So, you have three options - 1) either to accept, or 2) reject, or 3) partly accept, suffixing one or more "?"!
This is likely to be *Scirpus strictus* Roxb.<http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-264932>= * Fimbristylis spathacea* Roth. = *Fimbristylis cymosa* subsp. *cymosa =* not the one in eFI<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/cl/cyperaceae/fimbristylis/fimbristylis-cymosa> = neither the one in http://www.natureloveyou.sg/Bulbostylis%20barbata/Main.html = not likely http://www.arkive.org/west-indian-fimbry/fimbristylis-ferruginea/ or http://ecflora.cavehill.uwi.edu/image_detail.php?sn=Fimbristylis+ferruginea&iid=1073&pid=756&cn=&gh=herb = similar to http://www.flickr.com/photos/dweickhoff/5187418757/ or http://www.polynesien.minks-lang.de/a.pol.englisch/pol1.arten.f/fimbristylis.cymosa1.html !!! Which option do you wish to select, Garg Sir? Thank you, Regards, surajit On Wed, Sep 11, 2013 at 1:33 PM, J.M.
