Trees of Delhi states Crataeva *nurvala*, *Crataeva religiosa* & *Crataevamagna
* to be an invalid Syn. of *Crateva
adansonii* (i.e. not valid synonyms, but are commonly used (incorrectly)).

*Crataeva nurvala* [*C.religosa*] is an African species that is not
[naturally] found in India.

 Capparaceae and Cleomaceae fortnight
Cleomaceae, the cleome or spider-flower family
*Crateva* sp. for ID

Dear friends, this moderate to large deciduous tree in its leafless and
blooming stage resembles in all aspects to those in tree found planted in Govt.
premises<https://groups.google.com/d/msg/indiantreepix/Deb9z7i5uoc/7EZhh80EqZsJ>.
Am inclined to believe that such large deciduous (planted) trees must be of
*Crateva religiosa* G.Forst.

Hope this *Crateva* in India gets clarity very soon.in a home garden along
Ghodbunder Road on 04 DEC 08
