Dear all, I am pleased to introduce my colleagues Dr. Sumathi, Dr. Noorie and Mrs. Kavitha to our group.
*Dr. Sumathi*, a competent hardcore field taxonomist, did her Ph.D. (won Gold Medal) on floristics of Saddal Peak National Park in Andamans. In addition to Andaman Islands, she has also conducted extensive surveys in several parts of the mainland. She has published several research papers and described a handful of species new to science. At FRLHT she is managing Repository of Raw Drugs that houses the collection of about 1000 medicinal plants species. *Dr. Noorunnisa Begum*, an experienced taxonomist, did her Ph.D. on controversial drugs. She has also widely conducted surveys in southern Indian states. Here she is managing the herbarium in addition to various other responsibilities. *Mrs. Kavitha*, my wife, has done her M.Sc. in Agriculture. She is a plant lover and possesses vast knowledge in medicinal plants and their trade in India. I cordially welcome all of them to the indiantreepix group. -- With regards R.
