This is a sapling growing in the hills of Nagallapuram, which is about 100 kms from Chennai, just beyond the Andhra border. There were larger trees too, often growing in the clefts of rocks. The red stalks of the leaves were distinctive. I did not notice any fruit. Please id it. Thanks, Padmini Raghavan.
