Astilbe rivularis I hope The two are often confused ( I find several wrong images on the net), as leaves look similar, but Aruncus dioicus (syn: A. sylvester) has flowers with distinct petals, stamens numerous in number (15-30) and carpels 3. Astilbe rivularis has flowers without petals, stamens 5-9 in number and carpels only 2.
