B Faden made some varieties of M. spirata in Dasanayke's Revised handbook of Flora of Ceylon Vol. 14. u just check it out. I have also posted one pict of M. spirata on my blog http://murdannia.blogspot.com , but I don't think its matches with u r Pict. "
