Very good study Pankaj Ji. Identifying a pollinator of a particular species 
must be a tedious job with great patience. I do not know whether this 
hoverfly is generalist or specific to this orchid (egg laying though 
indicate specific relationship) this case is very similar to the 
co-evolution of Yucca whiplei and Pronuba yuccasela case.
Pollination methods are very interesting in flowering plants and the plants 
are more evolving taxa for such relationships. This case gives me another 
example to be explained to PG students for co-evolution.
