Radha ji, Thanks for the response and interest. 

But the two trees are too different in terms of size, Bark, leaf size & 
texture; distribution, shape & size of spines; glands on petiolule base 
(pics attached in earlier posts) that they are most unlikely to be same. 
Their location is a few hundred feet apart and the differences cannot be 
due to environment. These prominent differences merit different subspecies 
at least. Although I agree with Shrikant ji that flowers are identical 
except their size which is smaller in case of right one.

Hope the mystery is resolve.
