A reply: "As far as I know, Impatiens oppositifolia occurs only in the northern parts of Western Ghats and your plant is certainly not I. oppositifolia. Some one who is familiar with North Indian Impatiens may help in its identification. You may refer to Flora of Meghalaya. Dr. V.Bhaskar"
