Dear Karuna ji,

P. fraternus has 5 tepals;
This plant (image -2336) seems to have 6 tepals - but I am no expert in 
this field.
However, your description of position of the male and female flowers fits 
P. fraternus.
Am sure the experts will answer your question with explanation.
