Dear Friends, We, Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra, Chiplun and Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha, Savarde, have jointly organised 23rd Maharashtra Pakshi Mitra Sammelan on 26th and 27th December 2009. You are cordially invited for this Sammelan alongwith your family, friends and institutional members. We have arranged varieties of programmes for you on the holy land of Lord Parshuram. Of course the birds of Konkan is too one of the attraction. The Objective of the Sammelan is to present the Biography of the Birds from Konkan region and their status. Alongwith the above topic a debate will be held for gearing up the Maharashtra Pakshi Mitra movement. The Sammelan will be inaugurated at 9 a.m. on 26/12/2009 and concluded at 4 p.m. on 27/12/2009. Bird watching is scheduled on 27/12/2009 at 6.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Hold a membership of Maharashtra Pakshi Mitra Organisation - Maharashtra Pakshi Mitra is the registered institution try to coordinate the persons, institutions working to protect, conserve, create an awareness and study about the bird species. Attempts are being made for persistence in arranging Pakshi Mitra Sammelan every year, awarding Pakshi Mitra Puraskar, conducting of various programmes for creating awareness and publication of Pakshi Mitra Periodical. There is an essentiality for every one of you to contribute towards this work by becoming a lifetime member of the institution by paying Rs. 500/- once for all.
