Thanks Yazdi, for the important tip on Vanilla Orchid growing. 

Most recipes containing Vanilla, mention ' Vanilla pod ' as an ingredient, 
although not expressly as " Vanilla Orchid pod ".  
I believe Vanilla Orchid is grown on a big scale in Kerala, the moist climate 
being suitable.

One slight correction. Vanilla pods are not beans, as commonly referred. Like 
all Orchid seeds there are 1,000s of seed in a single pod.
