Hello, Iam really not very familiar with sanskrit language. But looking at the classification Given by Sushruta a renowned surgeon from the vedic period .He classified all living oraganisms basically in to two groups Sthavar Immovable) and Jangam( movable). The sthavar was further classified in to four groups 1)Vanaspati (Nonflowering plants) 2)Virudha (Shrubs and climbers) 3)Vriksha (trees i.e flowering plants) 4) Osadhi (seasonals that form the friut/seed and die /mostly the cereals) So, this classification includes almost all the vegetation on this earth! I don't know much about sanskrit and would like to know from knowledgeable friends Is sanskrit as robust grammatically as Latin or Russian? In Hindi we usually have a problem of gender. A friend from North India may call the same obeject feminie (Meri), whereas one from South as masculine (Mera), because the word does not tell us much in many cases. I would be interested to know about the grammatic soundness of Sanskrit.
