The descriptions are: 1. Genus : Vaccinium 2. Habit : Shrub 3. Height : 0.5 m epiphyte on rock; upto 2 m tall on soil+shade 4. Leaf : 3.5-4.5 cm x 2.5-3.5 cm 5. Fruit : Usually 10 in number, sometimes 11-12 6. Fruit size : 0.5-0.7 cm 7. Fruit properties: Edible, sour in taste 6. Location : Temerate forest of Tawang district (adjoining Bhutan), Arunachal Pradesh, India (East Himalaya) 7. Altitude : 2500 m -2800 m 8.
