Appears to be Hibiscus lobatus from Malvaceae family.
(Since flowers are in terminal racemes.)Better picture of stamens and carpels needed for proper differentiation of the species.

Dear Friends,

Vanakkam! Greetings from Chennai.

I recently had a chance to visit a reserve forest (Nanmangalam) in Chennai. I was amazed to see a good number of interesting insects fluttering around. It is a dry shrub jungle, with few interesting wildlife.

We found these little dull Bluish-Pink coloured Flowers  on a small herb during the trail. (Actually looked more bright bluish-pink in real) No clue why the flower looks different in colour here.

Would be grateful for any info shared on this.

Bluish-Pink coloured Flowers

Would love to learn the id.

Thank you.

Regards,

Ramjee
