In Flora of India Celastraceae did not include Hippocrateaceae and describe
only the genera-*Bhesa* (3spp.), *Cassine* (4spp.), *Celastrus* (7spp.),*
Euonymus* (32 spp.),* Glyptopetalum* (5spp.), *Kokoona* (2spp.),
*Lophopetalum* (2spp.), *Maytenus* (18spp.), *Microtropis* (6spp.),
*Nicobariodendron* (1sp.), Pleurostylia (1 sp.) and *Siphonodon* (1 sp.).

Hippocrateaceae was written by K.Ramamurthy and B.D.Naithani in the same
vol-5. They describe 3 genera, 32 species from India. These genera are-
*Loesseneriella* (8 spp.), *Reissantia* (3 spp.) and *Salacia* (21 spp.).
