P.wallichiana is the Himalayan Blue Pine, which is very distinct by its 5-needled spur as against the 3-needled spur in most other species. The cones of P.wallichiana are solitary, very long and cylindrical as against P.patula which has several ovoid cones in a cluster. The leaves of P.w are not drooping as in P.patula I am posting a photo of P.wallichiana for reference.
