Hello list members,

I am a faculty based in Central University of Punjab and working on
phylogeography of trees. My group is currently working on Banyan (Ficus
benghalensis) and Peepal (Ficus religiosa). Till date we have some 20
accessions of these trees, but could not cover the following places:

1. Entire North East, except Assam (including states Nagaland, Arunachal
Pradest, Missoram, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim and Meghalaya)
2. West Bengal
3. Laccadives

Both of these trees are very ubiquitous and if you need help with
identification, please contact me. I would like to have 5-10 tender leaves
of trees from each geological location (if exact lat-long coordinates are
known, it would be very helpful!). If you are collecting from multiple
locations, try to make distribution as even as possible. All contributions
will be properly acknowledged and/or be considered for authorship depends
on how exhaustive the help is. Courier charges will also be considered for
reimbursement.

Interested students/researchers, please contact me!
Thanks
Felix
