Yes the most beautiful flowering tree in the Himalaya. Sir J.D.Hooker was amazed by the beauty of this tree and carried it to kew. Many ornamental Rhodos developed in Europe have blood of this tree in them. The specific epithet is always changed to "arboretum" by computers, it is " *arboreum*". Regards. DSRawat Pantnagar
