Small trees,c.3m high,some times shrubby, with dense foliage on top.Petioles with small spines;leaflets 28-29x4.5-4.7cm,shortly acuminate at apices, dark green. Megasporophylls lanceolate,c.39cm long,apices entire margined long acuminate, with c. 6 ovules on each megsporophyll;ovules apically notched, dark green, glabrous.
