They look more like M. matanzanus, I had to look it up, mine are still without cephalium, but it looks like cephalium of conoideus is lighter, the spines smaller and whole plant larger than matanzanus. If these are larger than they look in the photos, then I stand corrected [image: Smile] In any case, they are gorgeous. I used to have 5 nearly identical M. matanzanus, but then gave three away.
