Dear Prasanthji,

Seems to be *J. wynaadensis*, but some interesting variations especially on
leaves.
Pls compare: Subshrubs, stem terete, smooth. Leaves 14-18 x 4-6 cm,
lanceolate, acuminate at both ends, glabrous, lateral nerves 7 pairs;
petiole 1-3.5 cm long. Spike 10 cm long, axillary and terminal, slender;
rachis pubescent, sometimes branched. Flowers in distant pairs; bracts 3 x
1 mm, hairy; corolla 12 mm long, throat hairy; ovary glabrous. Capsule 17
mm long, pubescent; seeds obovoid, oblique, minutely rugulose, dark brown.
