It is commercial senna(Tirunelveli senna) *Senna alexandrina Mill* (= *Cassia 
angustifolia *M. Vahl.), Fam Caesalpiniaceae; several 1000 ton of leaves, 
fruit shell, value added calcium salt (Calcium sennosides 10%, 20%, 60%) 
are exported from India, it is also cultivated in Rajasthan. Tuticorin is 
the main market for  senna nearly from British period.
