Let me clarify please.  First, Terminalia crenulata Roth is a synonym of T.
elliptica Willd. (Type: India Orientali, Herb. Cat. No.18943 (B-WILLD:
microfiche!).  The leaves in this species are opposite to subopposite and
the fruits are 5-winged.  Being in flowering stage, the fruits are not
available and it is not clear whether the leaves are opposite.  Hence
Santhan ji is requested to send us further photos from his vast collections.
