Thank you Gurcharan ji for the ID, Shrikant ji had also suggested the same.

However, while googling with this ID, I found that there was some variation 
in the shape of the lower lip of the flower posted and the pics available 
on the net (the lower lip of the pics of flower available on the net are 
curled whereas this is not the case in the pics above), the leaves also 
appear a bit different.

I was wondering whether this variation was okay?

However, since 2 experts have given their verdict, I take it as Justicia 
spicigera..
