GRIN gives two different taxa as below:
*Lantana camara subsp.
aculeata*<http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?451885>
((≡)
*Lantana aculeata*<http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?410251>L.
(
basionym)) and
*Lantana camara
aggr.*<http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?463177>
 (*Lantana* *camara* L. aggr.)

Other references like eflora & India sources can be seen at
Lantana<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/v/verbenaceae/lantana>

In view of these I have the feeling that our common Lanatana weed must
be *Lantana
camara subsp.
aculeata*<http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?451885>&
not
*Lantana* *camara* L.

Pl. give your views so that I can make necessary changes in
efloraofindiaaccordingly.
