Garg ji,

Both Tropicos <http://www.tropicos.org/Name/13801401>and
TPL<http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl1.1/record/kew-2708700>use the
spelling: *Centaurium
mairei *Zeltner. An another record of
Tropicos<http://www.tropicos.org/Name/13801436?tab=acceptednames>says
C. pulchellum var. meyeri is the accepted name.

But, IPNI and Fl. Pakistan use *C.* *meyeri* (Bunge)
Druce<http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=5&taxon_id=250091152>
(note
the difference in author names, too). According to Fl.Pak., this name is
now a synonym of *Centaurium pulchellum* var. *meyeri* (Bunge) Omer

So, I think we should use the latest combination: *Centaurium pulchellum*var.
*meyeri* (Bunge) Omer

Thanks for flagging this issue.

Regards

Vijayasankar
