*Persicaria amplexicaule* Syn:* Polygonum amplexicaule: It's roots are
astringent and useful in diarrhoea & dysentery. Flowers are both pinkish
white as well as deep pink in terminal spikes. Leaves are amplexicaule. In
the present photo , this feature is not very clear.*
