Illegal cultivation is banned in West Bengal and there are frequent court
cases on this plant and opium poppy. I am the only person who is
identitying these plants for police with a fees of 500 per specimen and
issuing certificate of identification on behalf of Govt. of India. I am
also frequently getting summons from courts across west bengal as witness.
Here I am getting smell of Ganja plant, Cannabis. Remember, its
cultivation is banned under NDPS Act, 1985 as amended.
