The Indian Youth Climate Network was born with the vision that the youth need to participate in decision making processes that will affect their future. In December, world leaders will be meeting in Copenhagen to discuss a new treaty on Climate Change and consequently the fate of the world. A 20 member delegation of Indian youth will be attending the negotiations in tandem with climate base camps being held in Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad to link youth in India to those in Copenhagen. Delegates in Copenhagen and the participants of the camps will be writing articles, blogging, tweeting and sending video updates constantly. This delegation will have access to negotiators from all countries, youth and also an opportunity to capture the various events and moods at Copenhagen.
