Dear all,
Request for ID.

Road side plant in Coimbatore. Surroundings dr,not near western ghat area. Plant around 1 foot in length. Leaf pale green, with overall silvery-wash appearance. Leaves and other parts of the plant not tomentose (but appears so). No aromatic smell. Flower spike resembles those of amaranthus species.
