As per Blakrishnan ji in another thread:
"If you treat *Synadenium* as a synonym of *Euphorbia*, then the correct
name should be: Euphorbia umbellata (Pax) Bruyns [synonyms: *Synadenium
umbellatum* Pax (1894) ; *Synadenium grantii* Hook.f.]

If you treat *Synadenium* as an independent genus, then the correct name
should be: *Synadenium grantii* Hook.f. (1867)

You cannot use *Euphorbia grantii* for this species, because there is
already an earlier *E. grantii* Oliv. (1875) for a different species."
