I don't think stem is angular in E. nivulia. This should be E. neriifolia.

E. nivulia (tree with distinct trunk, leaves 10-25 cm long, spines 5 mm
long) can be confused with E. caducifolia (shrub, not trunck, leaves 3-9 cm
long, spines 5-10 mm long) but not E. neriifolia.
