Dear all

I think this has been a very interesting two weeks turning into 4 weeks

I am amazed at the number of cases submitted.. and th equality of pictures
and breadth and depth of examples. Hats off to all.

but also must admit that i think a large numbers are from cultivated areas
such as Jijamata udyan, some nurseries and botanical gardens. SO there is
a bias involved in that the botanists and gardeners taking care of these
establishments had either special interest in growing them for their
research, beauty or expanding their collection for the enjoyment of the
public.

so this mix shows native occurrences and special selection. At times its
confusing and does not give the correct idea of what is truly indigenous.

I would be very interested to know if we can from now on divide such weeks
into natural occurrences and then those from botanist identified and
nurtured specially grown specimen.

May be this can be included in the title line /heading as *wild or
cultivated .*

Just a thought

would love to hear from all esp the senior members.
