Dear Sir, Happy teacher's day... There are lot of queries about Ficus carica L., Ficus carica is occur only in cultivation in India. It's allied to Ficus palmata subsp. virgata , it is wildly occur in India. My recently published paper in Journal of Threatened Taxa on 26 Aug 2014 title is *'Taxonomy, distribution and diversity of Ficus palmata Forssk. subsp. virgata (Roxb.) Browicz (Moraceae) in India'* is also available online. After reading this paper people can easily understand the variation in leaves, and their other related queries.
